Datadog continues to excel at their core 3 pillars of observability – Infrastructure Monitoring, Logging, and APM. But beyond that, it is now spreading its Observability platform out further, getting into CI/CD visibility and Security (especially around application protection). However, Datadog is not the only one heading in these directions.
